If you are looking for a way to serve your Rim Country neighbors -- this may be just the thing for you.
The 'Posse' is a volunteer-based organization. We hold regular meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm at the Sheriff's Posse Building (Old Payson Jailhouse Located on S. McLane, just north of Main Street). Anyone wishing to learn more about the Posse, or is interested in attending our monthly meeting - please contact either of the individuals listed below for more information.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
Gila County Sheriff's Posse Needs a Few Good Men and Women. Join the Posse and be available to serve the public when needed. You must be willing and available to serve the public welfare in any disaster, catastrophe or emergency situation, and to supplement the Gila County Sheriff's Office as needed. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older, be of good moral character and a citizen of the United States.
